Costas Verdes is a non-profit association created in 2009 with the general aim of helping to conserve and restore biodiversity in coastal ecosystems in the public domain.
These include coastal wildlife refuges, the maritime terrestrial zone, and other public spaces in coastal communities, places that are protected by law but are often degraded and/or deforested.
We aim to achieve our conservation and restoration objectives by working hand in hand with local communities, actively involving schools, colleges and universities.
In addition to restoration, we work with educational centres to create valuable information for future restoration projects.
