A little history about Lola's
Lola's was created in November 1998. A place where friends, family and the occasional tourist or adventurous surfer could have lunch and a drink.
While maintaining the atmosphere of a local surfers meeting place, welcoming thousands of daily customers in high season and taking care of our beloved Playa Avellana and the surrounding community all year round.
Lola's uses organic produce, free-range chickens and eggs, and their beef is also grass-fed and organic. They recycle, compost and convert the oil from the fryer into biodiesel.
They support local communities, police, schools, children's advocacy groups, lifeguards, beach clean-ups including The Clean Wave, animal clinics, various local charities, several environmental projects and local, national and international surf competitions.
The wastewater treatment facility provides clean water for all their reforestation projects and gardens. There are no more plastic cups, bottles, takeaway containers and straws.
