Our forested ecosystems are an essential part of Costa Rica’s natural beauty and provide critical habitat, shelter, and food for many of our endangered species.
As more land is developed, more trees are chopped down. As we work to preserve land and prevent further deforestation, we must continue to reforest urban areas and parks that have already lost their trees.
We are working with partner organizations and schools to plant trees that are native to our dryland forests. We also make every effort possible to ensure that our baby trees are well cared for and survive until they are established.
