Right to Change Items
Items may be added or withdrawn, without notice.
All sales final
All sales are final, there are no exchanges, and all items are sold “as is.”
No refunds
No refunds after purchase. Guests are responsible for item(s) once they’re claimed.
Limits may apply
Gift cards or certificates are subject to availability and “black-out” dates.
All vouchers expire within a year, making them valid until February 16th 2024 if not clarified on the voucher otherwise.
Vouchers are one time use, and therefore can not be redeemed more than once.
Once the voucher is redeemed the agreement is between the purchaser and the provider of the item or service. The Clean Wave is not responsible for any changes made between the purchaser and provider.
Bidding Process Rules
How long the auction is in effect
This auction will open at 6 pm, Thursday, February 16th @ Oveja, Tamarindo. The auction will complete when all final bids are accepted and the winners are announced, and the auction items are paid for completing the sale. Approximately by 9:30 p.m. on February 16th.
When final bids must be made
Food passports bidding will be closed, Dog Training Certificate, White Lotus Yoga Class: 7:45 p.m.
The Clean Wave Surfboard Art, Surf Kits, BA Divers Boat Trip: 8:00 p.m.
Adventure Passports (not including the Boat Trip), Art: 8:15 p.m.
Zero Waste, Wellness Passport, Spirits: 8:30 p.m.
Apparel: 8:45 p.m.
How minimum bid requirements work
Minimum bids must be at the minimum amount listed or higher. The bidder understands that they must qualify if there are any limitations (age or usage restrictions), and must be able to pay the amount they bid at the end of the auction on the same evening.
What minimum bid increments are in place
Minimum Bid Increments are in increments. For example: If the minimum bid on an item is $10, the next possible bid is $15, then $20, and so on.
Increments by Category of Auction Items:
Food Passports: $10
Adventure Passports: $25
Wellness Passport: $10
Paintings: $50
Apparel: $10
Dog Training: $25
Whether or not bids may be altered or withdrawn
Open bidding will take place until the item category is officially closed. At that time the top bidder who is able to perform on their bid will be announced as the winner. Bidders may withdraw their bid at any time. Once the bid has been closed no further changes can be made to the bids. This includes if the primary winner cannot perform on the purchase, the next bidder on the list will be awarded the item.
Legal Restriction Rules
Each bidder assumes all risks and hazards related to the silent auction and items.
Age restrictions may apply (on items such as liquor, gift cards to wine bars, or overnight trips).
A valid ID will be necessary to purchase items with age restrictions.
The Clean Wave is not responsible for the delivery of service or item after the event. Each provider is directly responsible to the purchaser for the items or services offered.
