Transportation Instructions

For the 7th edition of Ocaso Music Festival, people interested in earning a 5day festival experience to immerse in the natural beauty of CR, must register in the the site THECLEANWAVE.ORG in order to personally enroll in the volunteering program.

The Clean Wave will run Beach and Urban cleanups during the months prior to the festival, on dates Saturday November 18th and Saturday December 16th of the present year. On these dates, 3 events will be held in 3 different locations: Tamarindo, Nosara and San Jose, for a total of 6 cleanups before the festival starts in January in Playa Lagarto.

By registering individually in our website, volunteers can choose a location they can attend on each date for both November and December events, and when completing the registration will receive a QR code they will need to show to a clean rider on the days of the cleanups in San Jose and Guanacaste, in order to be scanned by the team member in charge at the event.

Volunteers will have to complete the cleanup and proper separation of waste following the indications of the clean riders until finishing the activity and are gently asked to participate in the group picture at the end of the event. (add disclaimer for photo use if needed*)

Another set of beach cleanups will be held at the place of OCASO festival on its first and last days at their new venue: The Bohemian inside La Joya de Lagarto Estate at Lagarto Beach, Guanacaste. Volunteers enrolled in the program are requested to join a minimum of one of these activities at the festival.

By entering and completing the November and December cleanups you will receive your Festival Pass proof in the days following the cleanup. This information will be sent to the same email address provided when registering to TCW x Road To Ocaso Volunteer Program, please note that tickets are for personal use and NON TRANSFERABLE.

As an additional benefit, volunteers will receive the opportunity to camp on site at The Bohemian during the days of the festival free of charge. CAMPING TENTS ARE NOT INCLUDED, please bring everything you need to camp on site and help us maintain this paradise free of single use plastics!
